Since 1874, William Lockie has been produced in Hawick, the heart of the Scottish knitwear industry. What started as a local spinning mill grew into a family business that has been known for its craftsmanship and high-quality materials for generations. To this day, every piece is carefully and precisely manufactured in Scotland.

PART OF OUR HERITAGE

In the early 1970s, the founders of The English Hatter discovered the Scottish brand William Lockie at a clothing fair in Paris. In a time without internet, this meant travelling further to Scotland to meet the family and the makers behind the brand. More than fifty years later, the jumpers are still part of the collection, with the same conviction as back then.
